During her 20 years of service to the community and, particularly, to St Thomas More’s Primary School, Julie worked as a classroom support assistant before moving into the role of office manager. Julie’s no. 1 priority has always been the development of the children in our school. From reading with children in the office, supporting cuts and bumps with bandaids and ice packs to cuddles for children missing home, Julie does it all. She has been described as the heartbeat of our community and we are so sad to see her leave us. On any given morning Julie receives visits from 10-15 children checking in and asking her how she is feeling. Julie regularly receives visits from teenagers and adults who were nurtured under her care during their time at the school.
